Vintage Collage

For this exercise I had to create a retro collage out of the images given to me. I cropped each

image and placed them on the canvas to create a cohesive composition. The images were of

different retro objects like a car, woman from the 1950s. At the end of the process I created

my own custom brushes out of old newspaper image and a fabric with polka dots image. I

tried to change and differ the final composition to the one shown in the tutorial. I made the

individual elements bigger and less scattered, more cohesive in my eyes. I did not find this

exercise to be too difficult but rather quite time consuming. The tutorial was very clear but

there were a lot of steps, so it took awhile to complete them all. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the

process and I believe the final image came out really beautifully.
